This week we opened the doors to our new office in Assen - and of course we started with a toast.

Assen is where the Dutch side of Lime Sportadmin lives: the people who answer your calls, run the onboarding sessions, and build the product together with the team in Sweden. The new space gives us room to grow, a proper place to host swim schools who want to visit, and - as of this week - a very well-used sofa.

If you are in the neighbourhood, the coffee is on. Come say hi, see the product up close, and meet the people behind the support line.

Meet the team at our booth, get a live look at the platform, and try your luck on the prize wheel.

On 8 October we are packing up the booth, the balloons, and the prize wheel again: Lime Sportadmin is at ZwembadBranche Dag 2026.

Last year's edition gave us a full day of conversations with swim schools from all over the country - about waiting lists, collection runs, and everything in between. This year we are bringing the newest version of the platform, so you can see the weekly assistant, quick assign, and the new instructor app up close, with your own questions as the demo script.

You will find us at the Sportadmin and Zwemscore booth all day. Come by for a live walkthrough, a spin on the wheel, or just a coffee and a chat with the team - no appointment needed.

Can't make it? Book a demo and we will bring the walkthrough to you instead.

Eighty-seven of ninety spots filled is a good week. It is also the kind of number that hides the part worth acting on: the three spots that will stay empty unless somebody notices them today.

That is the whole idea behind the weekly assistant, which now sits at the top of Classes and Lessons.

What it actually says

Open the week and you get a short read of it in plain language. Not a dashboard to interpret, but a few sentences telling you where you stand:

how full the week is, as a single number

which days are already booked out, so you can stop looking at them

where there is still something to gain, and how many spots that is

what those open spots are worth if they stay empty for one round

Underneath, every day of the week gets its own bar, so a glance is enough to see that Tuesday through Sunday are done and the gaps are on Monday and Wednesday.

Then you click the day, and it suggests who to put in the spot.

    Monday

Why there is money in it

Most planning tools stop at "6 of 8". That is accurate, and it is easy to scroll past for a few weeks in a row.

An open spot is not an abstraction, though. It is a lesson that runs at the same cost with one fewer swimmer in the water. Three of them across a week is roughly a hundred and seventy-five euros of a single round, in a school where the same three gaps quietly repeat all term.

So the assistant says the amount out loud. Not to be dramatic about it, but because a number in euros gets acted on and a fraction usually does not.

It suggests. You decide

The assistant does not move anyone. When you click a day with an open spot, it puts forward the families on your waiting list who fit that group, that level, and that time, and you take it from there. Approve, skip, pick someone further down the list.

That distinction matters to us. Nobody wants software that reshuffles their groups overnight and tells them afterwards. The job here is to do the part you would have done with a spreadsheet on a Sunday evening, and then get out of the way.

Where to find it

It is at the top of Classes and Lessons, above the week. It updates as bookings come in, and it collapses if you would rather not look at it. Filter by day, program, location, or instructor and the read follows your filters, so a school running two locations can look at one of them at a time.

If you run a swim school and have an opinion about the assistant, we would rather hear it now than after we have built the next part. Get in touch and we will set up a short call.

And if you have not seen the rest of Lime Sportadmin yet, book a demo and we will walk through it with your own week in front of us.

An empty spot in a Tuesday group and a family that has been waiting six weeks for exactly that group: until now, connecting the two was manual work. You kept the list in your head, or in a spreadsheet next to the system, and the spot stayed empty for a round or two while everyday work got in the way.

That gap is now closed. Waiting-list matching is live for all swim schools.

What it does

When a place opens - a swimmer moves up a level, a family cancels, you add capacity - the system reads your waiting list against that specific opening:

Level and program - only swimmers waiting for that diploma or program are considered.

Location - a family waiting for Amsterdam is not suggested for a spot in Utrecht.

Preferred days and times - captured at registration, so the match already knows that Wednesday afternoon works and Friday does not.

The result is a short, ordered list of swimmers who actually fit, with the best match on top. You stay in charge: approve the suggestion, skip it, or pick someone further down. Nothing is assigned behind your back.

Why it matters

An unfilled spot is quiet revenue loss - nobody calls to complain about it, it just sits there. Matching turns the waiting list from a queue you administer into something that works for you: the offer can go out the same day the spot opens.

Read more about how registrations and the waiting list fit together in the registrations and waiting-list section on the home page.

Hi, I'm David. I look after swim schools here at Lime Sportadmin, and I wanted to be the first to say welcome to our new site.

If you have visited us before, you'll notice it looks different. We rebuilt it from the ground up around one question: what does a swim school actually need from the people behind its software? Less jargon, fewer features you never asked for, and a clearer picture of how the day to day can get easier.

Twenty years, two countries, one place

For twenty years, Zwemscore has sat inside Dutch swim schools. For twenty years, Sportadmin has done the same in Sweden. Same job, two countries: keeping a school running through registrations, schedules, parents, payments, and everything in between.

We've brought both together into Lime Sportadmin. Not a new name for the sake of it, but the same understanding of the work, in something built for how your office really runs. Zwemscore stays exactly where it is for the schools that rely on everything it can do.

Where swim schools in the Netherlands go next

This is the part I find genuinely exciting. Over the past months we've spent our time inside swim schools, not in meeting rooms. Watching how lessons get planned, how parents find out a pool is closed, how payments get chased in the evenings. Everything we build next comes from those visits.

The future we want for swim schools in the Netherlands is a simple one: more time at the poolside, less time in the back office.

Let's talk

If you run a swim school, or help run one, I'd genuinely like to hear how your year is going. What works, what still takes too long, and what you wish your software did. No pitch required, I promise.

Get in touch and we'll set up a short call. No question is too small.

David
